What Geometry and Trigonometry tests
Geometry is the smallest Math domain and the one most often left until last, which is a mistake because its four skills are narrow and finite. There are only so many ways the SAT can ask about a circle. What makes these questions cost points is that the figure is frequently not drawn, or is drawn not to scale, so the work is in constructing the relationship before applying it. Radius versus diameter, and area versus circumference, remain two of the most common single-point losses on the entire test.
