What this section tests
SAT Math is four domains and nineteen skills, and the scoring is unforgiving in a specific way: the questions are not individually hard so much as repeatedly trap-laden, and most students lose the same points to the same handful of slips. Algebra and Advanced Math together are roughly two thirds of the section, which is why they carry the most questions here. Every Math question in this bank is checked by a computer algebra system before it can be served, so the stated answer is provably correct rather than merely agreed on.
